Mimi's Sweet Creations started with a simple belief: food can comfort the heart. I'm Wendy — mom to two sons, Mimi to my grandbabies, and the hands behind every loaf, cake, cookie, and sweet treat you'll find here. I also carry a tender place in my heart for my first granddaughter, Sophia Marie, whose memory inspires everything I bake.

Years ago, I ran a small catering and cake business back in Connecticut. Life took me down a different road for a while, but my love for baking never left — it was just waiting for the right season to come back.

That season arrived in 2024, when God opened the door to relaunch Mimi's Sweet Creations. After earning my ServSafe certification and registering the business, I chose the cottage bakery model so I could share homemade, small-batch treats without needing a storefront. Working under the Texas Cottage Food Law, I make everything to order with time-honored recipes and a whole lot of care.

Between family life, welcoming my parents into my home, and figuring out online ordering and social media (thank you to my talented niece for the help!), baking has become my ministry — a small way to bless homes and bring a little joy, one sweet at a time.
